Welcome to SKILL KWA GROUND. By enrolling in any of our courses, bootcamps or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
SKILL KWA GROUND provides practical, hands‑on skill development courses designed to supplement formal education and professional training. Our programs are intensive and project‑based, aimed at equipping learners with real‑world competencies.
We believe that every learner should have a stake in their own growth. Therefore:
2.1 Personal Financial Contribution. Even if your training is fully or partially funded by an external body (for example, an employer, sponsor, scholarship or government program), you are required to contribute a minimum personal investment toward your learning. This contribution may be monetary (a nominal co‑payment) or non‑monetary (such as completion of pre‑course assignments or community engagement tasks).
2.2 Rationale. This policy ensures commitment, reduces dropout rates and encourages a sense of ownership over your learning journey.
2.3 Verification. External funding must be approved in writing by SKILL KWA GROUND prior to enrollment. Any remaining balance after external funding must be settled by the learner before course commencement.
3.1 Course Fees. All fees are quoted in Kenyan Shillings (KES) unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to modify pricing, but confirmed enrollments are locked at the agreed rate.
3.2 Payment Plans. Installment options may be available for select courses. Failure to meet installment deadlines may result in suspension of access until payment is received.
3.3 Discounts and Coupons. Only one discount or coupon code may be applied per enrollment. Codes are non‑transferable and expire as stated.
4.1 Cohort‑Based Courses. Full refunds are available up to seven (7) days before the cohort start date. Cancellations made within seven (7) days of the start date are eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds are issued after the course has begun.
4.2 Self‑Paced Crash Courses. Due to immediate access, no refunds are provided for self‑paced courses except where required by Kenyan consumer law.
4.3 Exceptional Circumstances. Refund requests due to medical or personal emergencies will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis and may result in a credit toward a future cohort.
Learners are expected to maintain a respectful and professional environment. Harassment, discrimination or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the course without refund.
6.1 Course Materials. All videos, slides, documents and resources provided are the exclusive property of SKILL KWA GROUND and are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute or share course materials outside the platform.
6.2 Learner Work. You retain ownership of projects and assignments you create during the course. However, by submitting work, you grant SKILL KWA GROUND a non‑exclusive license to showcase your work (with attribution) for promotional purposes, unless you opt out in writing.
We strive to maintain high availability for our learning portal. However, we are not liable for temporary interruptions due to maintenance, technical issues or circumstances beyond our control. Course materials are typically available for twelve (12) months after course completion unless otherwise stated.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SKILL KWA GROUND shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your participation in our courses. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific course.
We collect and process personal data in accordance with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kenya.
