1.2 Payment Information. When you pay for a course, we collect billing details necessary to process the transaction. We do not store your full card number or M‑Pesa PIN. Payments are processed securely by trusted partners such as Paystack or M‑Pesa.

1.3 Course Progress. We track which lessons you have completed and any assignments you submit. This helps us support your learning and issue certificates of completion.

1.4 Messages and Communications. If you contact us via email, WhatsApp or our website forms, we keep a record of those conversations to assist you effectively.

Sensitive Information: We do not collect sensitive data such as ID numbers, health information or biometric data unless specifically required and with your explicit consent.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data only for the following purposes:

2.1 Account Management. To create and manage your learner account.

2.2 Course Enrollment. To enrol you in courses, process payments and provide access to learning materials.

2.3 Communication. To communicate with you about course updates, deadlines and important announcements.

2.4 Certification. To issue certificates of completion.

2.5 Improvement. To improve our courses and website based on how learners use them.

2.6 Marketing Updates. To send you occasional updates about new courses or offers. You may unsubscribe at any time.

3. Who We Share Your Information With

3.1 Trusted Service Providers. We share information with trusted partners who help us operate our platform, such as payment processors (Paystack) or email services (Google Workspace). They only receive the data necessary to perform their function.

4.1 Active Learner Accounts. Kept indefinitely unless you request deletion.

4.2 Payment Records. Kept for at least seven (7) years for tax and accounting purposes.

4.3 Course Progress and Certificates. Remain available for three (3) years after course completion.

Under Kenyan data protection law, you have the following rights:

5.1 Right of Access. You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

5.2 Right to Rectification. You may ask us to update inaccurate or incomplete information.

5.3 Right to Erasure. You may request that we delete your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.

5.4 Right to Object. You may object to certain uses of your data, such as direct marketing.
