Pay-by-Installments Agreement For Skill Kwa Ground Courses

This Pay-by-Installments Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Skill Kwa Ground EdTech (“the Platform”) and the enrolling student (“the Student”).

  1. Purpose of Agreement

This Agreement governs the installment-based payment arrangement for courses offered by the Platform and forms part of the Platform’s Terms and Conditions.

  1. Enrollment and Access

Upon payment of the initial installment, the Student will be granted conditional access to the enrolled course. Continued access is subject to full and timely payment of all remaining installments.

  1. Installment Payment Schedule

The total course fee shall be paid as follows:

a) 50% due at the time of course enrollment

b) 30% due four (4) weeks after the enrollment date

c) 20% due seven (7) weeks after the enrollment date

Payments must be made using approved payment methods on the Platform accessible via:

  1. Late Fees and Penalties

If any installment is not paid by its due date:

  1. A late fee of (3% of the course price) will be applied for each week the payment remains outstanding, up to a maximum of Ksh 750.
  2. The Platform reserves the right to suspend access to course materials, live sessions, certificates or assessments until payment is brought up to date.
  3. Continued non-payment beyond 14 days will result in termination of access to the course without refund.

5. Default

Failure to complete all installment payments constitutes a material breach of this Agreement. In the event of default, the full outstanding balance may become immediately due and payable at the discretion of the Platform.

  1. Refunds and Cancellations

All payments made under this installment plan are non-refundable, except as expressly stated in the Platform’s Refund Policy. Withdrawal from the course does not release the Student from the obligation to complete all outstanding payments.

  1. Acknowledgment and Consent

By selecting the installment payment option, the Student acknowledges that they have read, understood and agreed to this Agreement and accept responsibility for all scheduled payments.

  1. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Government of Kenya.
